heres the whole tank taken with a real camera instead of an iphone. time to sit back and enjoy the growth.

looks like the corals are grabbing, the calcium consumption rate changed from 110 ppm to 147 ppm. the aquamedic doser (25cc/min) is as follows:

ca: every hour on for 2 min
dKH: every hour on for 31 sec
mg: every hour on for 25 sec

consumption rates within a 24 hr period:

    ca 147 ppm
    dKH 5.4
    mg 39 ppm

    tanks parameters:

    ca 400
    dKH 5.1
    mg 1380
    pH 8.1

once the levels are constant ill tweak the parameters a little to my personal specs

p.s. keeping up with the big 3 is a must for any coral type

tank parameters are nsw and the 24 hr consumption rates are as follows:

    ca 193 ppm
    dKH 7.2
    mg 67 ppm

and just for giggles i tested nh3,4 no3, no2, po4, si and all came back 0

i have to take out and replace 12 cups of ro/di daily to keep the salinity at 35 ppt due to the mg supplement. im also dosing 5 cc of reef trace and 5 cc of reef plus once a week. basically i dont have to do water changes once a week but do anyways.

new tanks 24 hr consumption rates:

    ca 281 ppm
    dKH 10.5
    mg 54 ppm

    difference from a month ago:

    ca +88 ppm
    dKH + 3.3
    mg -13 ppm

based off the numbers it seems the corals are growing and doing just fine. this is a neat little trick to find out how your tanks doing. all nutrients are 0.

the algae scrubber has established itself and has pods growing in it. i laid flat a couple 1" pvc pipe about 5" long under the scrubber to breed pods, they love it.
