So I picked up a 46 bf off Craig's list, the tank was already set up with about 75lb LR, some mushrooms, some Zoanthid polyps(I think), a brittle star, yellow tail, a yellow belly damsel (again I think that's what it's called), algae blenny, and a huge tomatoe clown. Also a home made 175 MH 10000k hood and 1 t12 actinic and 50/50 fixture, to power heads, a HOB can't remember the brand, skimmer and 20 gal sump. No pumps for the skimmer or sump though.
When I picked up the tank the guys wife added water to the tank the night befor and hit the mh bulb breaking it, so I have a new one on order.
I got the tank set up at home on its temp stand...in the prosses of making one now. Every one is doing good except the polyps don't open much, I'm not sure if its the lighting or water quality. My nitrates are high around 40 I am in the prosses of trying to get them lower. There is only 2 hermit crabs in there that I have found. Should I add more. I will try to post some pictures later tonight.

photo1.JPG [/ATTACH] Here is the start to my stand, it is going to have the hood as part of the stand and space for all the plumbing to be hidden. I will try to get more pictures up later

    Welcome to 3reef.

Your high nitrates could possibly be from the tank transfer. I would look into a cuc. 2 hermits isn't hardly anything.
    Congrats on the new setup.

I would check out reefcleaners.org. They are a site sponsor and have great deals on cuc.

Stand is built, new scape is done, and all the fish happy. Just need some paint on the stand then work on getting the sump set up, also orderd the CUC that the tank was lacking.

    New stand minus paint
