46 bowfront pics with sump/stand ideas and LEDs?

Hello all!

Breaking down my 90G most likely, and going back to my 46 Gallon bowfront. Currently I have HOB skimmer and emperor 400 HOB filter. Anyone have a sump under their 46? I just have the marineland stand with shelves on both sides and the thin door in middle so I assume its difficult and a non drilled tank. Anyone switch their stand out?

I also have 2-24" reefbreeders value fixtures on my 90, anyone have any pics of their 46 bow with Leds mounted or building a canopy?

Maybe I should go with my coralife PC, do they make a 36" LED?

I don't have any recent pics, but same tank and stand as you. No sump yet, so I use a HOB CPR 'fuge, Eshopps PSK-100H, and a Phosban Reactor for carbon. The bottom of the tank is tempered, but the back and sides are not so you could drill those if you wanted.

Will this be a reef tank?

 

Yes, it will be reef... Always had hob so I may keep it. What lights are you running? I built a canopy for my 90 but more difficult on a bowfront lol.

 

Mine is just a QT for now, FOWLR in the future. So just a cheap 36" low powered LED fixture. They do an ok job of covering the tank. The front is a little darker than I would like.

 

Yea I have 2 reef breeders dimmable 24" Leds but I think I'd need to rig a mount off the wall =(. Maybe ill jus go t5 and save the Leds til I figure out something
