Just thought i would post a before after of my tank. The after is taken with my phone so it isn't the best quality, but i think its come along way! Dont mind the little bit of algae in the bottom right... My gf was watching the tank over turkey break and tends to think the fish are far more hungry than they really are... :p
It still has a long ways to go though!

I'll try and get a couple nicer ones on later.

I'm still looking for one final fish to finish off the tank... I've currently got 2 O. Clowns, a pink spotted goby, spotted hawkfish, and a neon dottyback. And two rouge damsels in the 29 gallon fuge... I would really like a wrasse, or something that is active and swims around alot. And does anybody know what type of shirmp will form a relationship with a pink spotted shrimp goby??

Great looking tank jkuja913! Nice work...I also have a 46 BF and love it.

Many species of wrasse are very active and spen most of the time swimming in open waters. I'm thinking of adding a Carpenter's Flasher wrasse or McCoscker's Flasher. Both are beautiful active fish IMO.

Green Chromis. I have a small school (6), and they added tons of movement. They only stop swimming in darkness.

I have been considering a couple chromis, or possibly some anthias. But wrasse seem to have more individual personalities than chromis or anthias since they aren't school fish. I just need to find a variety that is a, reef safe and b, wont jump from my tank since i have an open top. I suppose i could make a top out of window screen but i like the easy access the open top provides. Does anyone have or know of a wrasse that fits this description?

offensetaken, those are both beautiful wrasse and i have looked at them in the past. However the fact that liveaquaria says there jumpers just worries me. However liveaquaria says my goby is a jumper too and the only time it leaves the sand bed is to chase my hawkfish away from its burrow or to go up for food. Anyone have a carpenters or McCosker's wrasse???

I have a blood red fire shrimp that has paired with my YWG. This may work with your goby?

Yea that might work. I think the Pink spot and yellow watchman are pretty similar. I've hear the Pink spotted gody called pink spotted watchman goby before...

A mesh top will take care of that. Quite a few fish species are "jumpers".

That is what i was trying to avoid building... But, I guess in the long run it wouldn't be a bad idea.
