I have searched the forum up and down for an answer to my aging question about this lighting system. Is it or is it not a good one? I would like to know. Some people say there good for beginners. The thing i see good w/ this system is that they come w/ the moonlites already installed.

My stats are below would the coralife do me justice or should i go w/ the Hamiltons. I really like the coralife but i like to have that extra wattage in case i will need it in the future.

I'm shooting to be able to put anything under the sun in my tank without having to worry if i have the proper wattage to support it. Thx.

P.S. Is it true that Coralife is coming out w/a 250 watter. If so can u send me a link to that info. Thx again.

Oh, that did sound like I have that,,,eh...I was just giving a link to what was being looked for...hehehe

I have the older coralife 36" MH 175 watt. I have been very happy with them. I bought it used and had questions years later, and they gave me excellent customer service!

I just saw that aqualite pro in a magazine and googled it! Pretty..and pretty pricey ($680 at hellolights)...but it has everything all in one package. Looks nice to me! ;)

I had questions about the Aquapro myself for my 75g reef so I spoke with Bob Fenner from wetwebmedia.com about whether on not to go with the 150w Aqualight Pro verses a 175w/250w MH and he felt that the 150wx2 Aqualight pro would be just fine for any and all corals and clams.  So that was good enough for me!  I actually looked at the Current MH Outer Orbit fixture=2x150w HQI MH's and 2x130w actinics.  I chose the Aqualight because the MH ballasts are external and the system is modular and just about everything can be replaced on it.  I emailed tech support at esu.com.  They gave me a prompt reply to my email.

I'm trading in my Coralife Aqualight for the Aqualight pro w/ MH. I only have 2.6 WPG at the moment (no corals as of yet) and the Pro w/ give me 5.6 WPG. yay. i can't wait. :D
