You don't need to spend that much for a good fixture. You just need to buy something with quality.

On reefgeek.com you can buy a 48" 4 bulb T5HO tek light with your choice of bulbs for $321.95 with free shipping. With what you want to have, the 4 bulb with ATI and Giesemann bulbs will be great for you. Plus, that is only $22 over the DB POS.

I saw that on reefgeek. But then I would still have to get the mounting legs and a splash shield which ends up being over $400 anyways. You don't think that the Nova Pro Extreme 6 bulb is any good for the $200 he's asking?

If you didn't need new bulbs. You don't need a splash gaurd or the legs.

If so, how do I put it over the tank? If it sits on top, Im gonna have a ton of creep on it from the microbubbles from my HOB skimmer. And if it's hanging over the tank, is the light penetration gonna be good enough to do what I want on a 90 gallon tank, and what do you use to suspend it, stuff from Home Depot or buy their kit?
