    Hi,

I have a 48"L X 13"W X 20"H (55G) tank and I would like your suggestion on good lightning. It will be a reef tank with coral and a very few fish.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Seb

Bingo the better the quality the higher light corals you can keep.

    Does a 4X54W is enough or I should get a 6X54?? my tank is only 13"W, I think the 6X54W is 15"W...

Unless you are planning to keep acros then it might be overkill.

I keep SPS in a 30 cube under a 4 bulb T5 but I have to keep almost all at the top or they brown out. M. Digitata will stay purple at the bottom but I still wish I had the 6 bulb. If you're even remotely interested in SPS then I'd go for the 6 bulb. If not - 4 bulb should work fine.
