    Thanks man!!! I cant wait!! Its gonna be like opening a dark door into the light, hahaha. Im gonna wake up and think im walking to the light! Hopfully the light splash will not be to bad, it is going in my room.

    i dont think it will be... and anyway, if you run the light cycle during the day i dont think it would be a problem.

    yea, but the lights come on at 8:00am, and I go to work at 9:00, so it is a nice wake up call, lol. Oh well, it will just modivate me to get a canopy, :lol: .

    I mainly want to keep softies and shrooms so i think my light will be ok. I put the lights over my tank just to see how much light it will produce and its alot. It lights up all the house in a blue color. The icecap reflectors are much better than the original sls reflectors so yes youre right. Youre goint to need sunglasses to look at the tank.[​IMG]

    Thanks. I think youll do great with sofites, and shrooms. You could also have leathers, and some LPS just put them higher. Good luck with yours too!!

    It has a lot of light splash but that may be because i dont have any substrate and its hitting on the bare glass. Also im going to put the light a little bit higher and have them enclosed by a canopy. What combination bulb did you choose?

    3 54W Actinic Plus T5 HO Fluorescent by Giesemann
    2 54W 11000K Aquablue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent by Giesemann
    1 54W 6500K Daylight T5 HO Fluorescent

    I got the 6500k to help with PAR. If it looks to yellow, ill just get one more 11k bulb.
