48w of T5HO for a 10 gallon?

    Is 48watts of t5ho power enough for a 10 gallon tank to grow some nice coral? two 24w bulbs..one 10k and one actinic

    You can keep whatever you want with that light fixture, although most Tridacna clams will probably outgrow the tank.

    im between the 20" 36w or a 24" 48w..the 24" will hang off a little, the tank is 23.5 but i dont mind..what you guys think ?

    For a tank that shallow, the 20" will be plenty; either one will work.

    i know they will both work but the question is, will the 24" be too much? hmm they are the same price... i want the 24" but ..dont want to bleach my corals

    Hang the light about 24" above the sand to keep from bleaching your corals.
