Here's a little tank I put together to have a bit of fun with to run alongside the nano.

Bought a beast of a hob filter, big enough to house my 25w hydor heater some floss and made a small media basket out of egg crate to house carbon and phos remover.

Thinking of changing this bulb to a new Orphek when they get released but anyway here is an FTS.

and now the residents, 1 yellow clown goby, 1 spiny astrea, 1 red legged hermit and a bunch of empty shells and 4 rics.

i'm not too sure whether this bulb would be capable of keeping sps. the bulb is 9 x 3w edison leds (6 royal blue, 3 cool white) but I very much doubt they're driven at 3w probs more like 2.4w and it's 60 degree optics. it's basically the only choice we have in the UK unless we want to import from states and incur painful taxes and custom charges, I picked it up fairly cheap so it will do for now until i find out what's going on with the Orpheks.

Neat looking little tank, I so much want to set one up like that for my desk at work!

You can keep sps with it, I know several people that are. the only problem with it is keeping you water quality good enough for sps with a tank that small.

But that being said I would go for something like a Pink Birds nest or a nice little Orange Digi.

this is indeed true, make sure top offs and water changes are very close in temp and ph etc.
