4'x2'x2' Custom Reef build with LED

Found 45 minutes tonight to start LED assembly.
First pic is just heat sinks and baggy of lenses.
Next is LED laid out on heatsink to determine configuration
Then paper template with measured LED's locations marked on paper. Hole in paper at each dot to transfer onto heat sink with sharpie.
Finally is a picture of LED scaled with my thumb and completed template to heatsink transfer of LED placement marks.

LeeMar makes great tanks. I was looking in to a LeeMar custom a few months ago, but decided on Miracles. I wish I had the ability to do an external rear overflow like that. Internal overflows take up so much space.

I can't wait to see how this tank progresses.

I wish I had that level of DIY. I am paying a carpenter friend to build it. Cabinet should go on near end of month.
So those pics will come later. I'll keep other pics coming until then.

I am looking for a good carpenter locally to build what I would like but that is easier said than done

 

I hear ya! I felt good using my friend, knowing he does good work and at least I'm paying someone I like that kind of money.
