    Been a bit since I posted an update. Corals were not growing well and faded looking. I took bio pellets off-line and things improved some right away. Then found salinity was off due to refractometer not being calibrated well. It was 1.030. Slowly lowered it to 1.025 and now things looking great and growth is much better.

    Next mistake was I fiddled with my meanwell driver and burned out 12 LEDS. So I rebuilt my fixture even cleaner than the last and more LEDs.

    Is that old stag acro (formosa? probably a tort) blue or purple? i love it either way.

    Not sure what species it was! It was a deep electric blue and was growing great but got red bugs. Then RTN. I tried to frag the healthier pieces with no luck. I was so bummed as it was my favorite coral. I had hoped it would grow to a large tree like pattern in my tank. Hope to find another someday.
