    Nice!!!! I can't wait to do this! How far should the water be from the top of the tank? Should I add a sponge baffle for bubbles?

    Leave just enough space so if the flow is cut it wont overflow your fuge. A sponge baffle is a good call. How do you plan on plumbing this into your system?

    So here is what I plan to do.

    Use a 5.5 gallon tank
    Have baffles made out of acrylic
    Install a sponge before the mud and hob filter filled with GFO
    Use MaxiJet 1200 as a return pump..

    Anything else I would need?

    Just some rock and macro algae like chaeto or maybe mangroves and you sound good to go!

    Should the sponge be before the mud or after? Or could I have two sponges?

    I can't wait to see this thing up and running! I'm seriously considering this. My back chambers are just to small.

    It won't be for a few most maybe a month but I will keep you guys posted with updates.

    So one sponge or two?
