So I was going to set up a 5.5 AIO for my bed room but the wife said no more aquariums lol. So I asked my mom if she would like a small aquarium and she said yes so plan was a go again. The false wall and divider are made from the false wall from my bio cube I converting into another project. My goal is to make it a low maintenance as possible for her since she hasn't ever had an aquarium before. One of the compartments will house a little chaeto the other will be the return pump. Lighting will be probably the 2 PCs from the biocube also housed in a wooden canopy. Questions or comments are definitely welcome. Sorry for the crappy pic...its from my cell phone.[IMG]

All masked up ready for paint the view with just the thin strip open is the front I did that to cover up the divider (and my crappy silicone job lol). That will also be the lil fuge next to it. The return area will be covered up from the side but open on the back so you can see into it when trying to work in there.[IMG][IMG]

And now its painted black. Not sure if I should do black sand or natural. I have black sand and black background in my 90 but not sure what to do with a nano. Think it'll look to small?[IMG][IMG]

Thanx I peeled the masking off and realized that the back wasn't dark enough so I gotta remask and reshoot.

At least it's small to mask off. I painted the inside of my house and masked the entire thing...never again.

I'm not sure yet for stocking. Prolly zoas and some other non invasive soft corals. Maybe some small shrimp and was thinking about one of those tiny gobies (forget what they are called).

Such a cool idea. I want to do a 5.5 tank that sits on a 200 gallon sump. it will be just for purple monster frags.
