That is indeed what it's for, sump/fuge. It'll also double as the water movement for the tank.

Nice. :) All-in one. Like a biocube, but home made, so it's even better. haha

You could always try a red-headed goby or two (stay small) and a blue coral-banded shrimp (stay small). I had both of those, tho in a larger tank.

Yeah lol ben a while since I had time to work on it. She keeps bugging me about when it will be done. Its almost done though. I still need to buy a pump and another bulb. Should I run a 10k and actinic or two 50/50s? Which you think would give best par and still grow cheato?

So I'm not sure about the lighting any more...I'm not exactly happy how the canopy is turning out for the two pcs taken from my bio cube. Was thinking about a par38 led but I would only like to use one light for both the display part and the little fuge. Would it give good enough coverage for both sections? Also thinking about just doing a rapidled retro into the current canopy I have made. What would you guys do?

I think with the canopy the LED wont work as well, they need air flow for them to last as long as they say, otherwise they heat up and it cuts down on there life expectancy. the canopy would limit the amount of air, unless you have already thought of that.
