I like it when I accidentally break a piece of coral while cleaning, put it somewhere in the tank and:

The smaller piece to the right is from a cleaning "break" event. I'm trying to have a huge expanse of Setosa there :)

There are so many great experiences (fish, coral, etc), but my favorite experience was overcoming my gigantic bryopsis outbreak. I was about to quit after trying almost everything and then I figured I'd try one last attempt with Kent Tech M (thinking "this isn't going to work, but its a last ditch effort before I shutdown the tank")

I raised the Mag and did a blackout on Thurs/Fri before going away for the weekend and when I came back, the tank that had been COVERED in bryopsis had only a tiny patch of green hair algae when I came home on Sunday night.

I can't tell you how much of a relief/ joy it was to see that.

Watching a system we've designed and plumbed spring to life when you throw the switches to fire up the pumps.

    Watching SH fry being born.

Having fish in our home that even most public aquariums don't have.

Finding that "impossible to find" specimen and having it do super well.

    The biggest, hands-down:

Having somebody like Renee to share the hobby with!

I can't figure out how to put more than one quote on a reply :)

I don't blame you at all for posting that beautiful tank a zillion times ;)

To do a multiple quote press the little button ('') on the right of the "quote" button on all the posts you want to multiquote :). Then press "quote" on any of them and it will have all the quotes in your reply.
