So far everything is good with my tank. it is however running at 83 temp. but I think that is because I have a large heater in it. (must to big for tank) I just needed that till I go buy a smaller more compact model. maybe something that can go into the filter instead of the tank... anyone have knowledge of a good small heater?

I found a heater that you can use, it would fit in your HOB filter, nothing to fancy but I think it would work. Here's a copy to the web page.

i have had experience with this heater. twice actually and neither times i would recommend it. it doesnt cut out once it reaches a designated temp so it super heated my tank when i first started it out. didnt matter much because it was when i first started its cycle and there was nothing in it but it could have caused alot of problems. then the second heater didnt heat at all really. increase the water temp by about 2 degrees from the room temp. in my nano i use this...Walmart.com: Tetra: Heater, 1 ct: Fish and my water is at a constant 78-79 degrees. cheap too. i also run this in my hob filter so it does everything you want.

great work on the tank. check mine out too. ;D

just wanted to give an update, the issue with my temp has been fixed. I bought the small walmart heater and works excellent. and ask for a couple ID's on some coral..both are mine. I knew what one of them was but cant remember. and the other I have no clue. the one I have no clue about is in the last pic let me know what you think.

Nice frags!! i dont know what coral that is in the forth picture. If I'm correct I can see some green bubble algae, I'd get rid of that because it can spread in the tank if the bubbles pop. Take the rock out and scrape them off the rock. Like the zoanthids. Got a big patch of those in my tank,
