Thats what I wanted to get, one that would run the whole house and then some, but the ball and chain didnt want to, too much money she said. So I settled for a 7550/13500 Gen that will run the tank, refrig., portable a/c, some lights, tv and a deep freezer. And if needed, turn everything off and turn the hot water on to take hot showers. It a matter of playing around with the power. You know, "take from peter to give to paul" deal. Luna

SE Michigan is going through the same band of storms. We've been without power now 14 hours, and looking at Tues. or Wed. before we're restored. We're running a generator off the PTO on the tractor (which does run the whole house, amazingly), and the only thing I've noticed is the temperature is about 80. I'm crossing my fingers and cursing the price of diesel!

I remember hearing about the big fuss when burgerking(I think it was burgerking) did a commercial there... Nice town, been there quite often....

Well Shafer Lake in Hope had the Damn breached saturday and it is a mess. I have never seen that much water in one place. 9+ inches fell in less then 4 hours. Two damns were breached and Columbus got all the water.

This is what it looked like once the water had gone down sunday.
