    Greetings!

    So i was looking at my tank last night after lights off (one of the most interesting parts!) and came across this dude!

    its been about 5 months my tank is running and iv never seen him before, his "scales" are hard and the white part is similar to the texture of a sea snail skin.

    any ideas?

    Yup a chiton, great algae eater including coralline.

    That's great to know what that is, since I've got 2 of them, but couldn't get my camera to focus well enough to snap a pic. Thanks for posting this.

    I had one of these crawl out of a trochus shell I bought with a morph attached. It was huge and was just walking about grazing like a cow. Thanks for posting
