50/50 to 10,000K

My tank is just about one year old now (woot!) and I really should replace my the compact flourescent bulb that came with my fixture. I'm currently running a a simple 15W actinic along with the 65W 50/50 bulb and everyone in the tank is happy. But I'm wondering if it'd be a good idea to replace the 50/50 with a 10,000K bulb. I'd still be running the 15W actinic. Thoughts please?

If you like the blue, go with another 50/50

 

Go with the 50/50 if you like the flourecence. Or conversley you can change the 15w bulb to 10K or 50/50 as well.

 

I just got the 10,000 K bulb today. How would you recommend switching bulbs? That is, should I put a layer or two of screen over the tank to mute the new bulb for a while??? Shorter photoperiods??? Hand out wee tiny sunglasses to the salty critters???
