    Above is the whole in the wall from the display tank to the sump room behind.....

    I installed cabinets in the sump room.... the return pump section is a 40 gallon tank under the cabinets.

    The 30 gallon on the right will be the skimmer, the 55 gallon will be the refugium.

    I got the manifold installed yesterday and all the supply and return plumbing. Today will be plumbing the skimmer, GFO/Carbon Reactor, refugium, cooler, etc.

    And then on to electrical... Progress is being made...

    Question...
    Where the return lines dump into the sump.... my vague recollection is that I had "chimmeys" on them to let air bubbles out.... isn't that right???

    I'll never have another system without a Algae Scrubber. You have plenty of room. Here is my scrubber hanging on the wall above my sump.

    That is so cool Windy. Please start a new thread on your scrubber build. I'd love to see that. :)

    That would be one way to deal with the gurgling Mark. When mine get too submerged I tilt them to keep the top edge just above the water line. Mine are flex hose though.
