    me and someone else in my family think it be better if we did a shark pond on the side of the house,im wondering if i couuld keep anemones in this since natual lighting because we have anemones on the shore and im located 15 mins from garrets acropolis

    how are you going to filter this pond and keep params stable? and if you're going outside, why only 500g if your digging a pond? thats not that big, IMO I'd do at least a 1000g, thats the size of my koi pond, if not smaller than it.

    I agree with cosmo, if you are going to do this you may as well go bigger. most sharks require a minimum of 300 gallon tank as it is. And thats for a bamboo shark, what if you want a black tip reef shark? thats gonna need 1000+ gallons to do well.

    side note, i only have a 40 breeder and dont know anything about sharks other than what ive read on the internet.

    If you're going to put the effort into making an outdoor shark tank, you might as well make it huge ;) That way, you could have just about any shark you want (within reason, of course :) )

    I think runoff is a major concern. as well as heat.
