I am planning my next build and have decided to go all the way and purchase a 500g corner for my computer room. I am planning my stocking list and wanted to know if they would work out and if anyone has any suggestions.

    Porcupine Puffer
    Miniatus Grouper
    Spanish Hogfish
    Tessalata Eel
    Harlequin Tusk
    Christmas Wrasse

Also how would you deal with a clean up crew for this aquarium? This is my first venture into an aquarium this size so any help is appreciated.

As I have no experience what so ever in big aquariums: You would hire someone full time to take care of it so you can continue to game whilst looking at it :)

The lobster could be eaten in that tank. I would swap out the clown trigger for one more able to "play nice". What about a snapfin? also look at groupers.

How about switching the Clown Trigget for a Panther Grouper? Also who would be the problem for the lobster?

Never had a clown trigger, but lost a large lionfish to a medium sized huma-huma several years back. The trigger ate the lions belly.

I've just updated my stocking list and my question now is what kind of filler fish would you add, maybe a school of 3-4 fish that wont get eaten by my grouper. Also what type of clean up crew would you have?

your CuC will need boosters every couple of months with those fish I would imagine.

I am thinking a Foxface (added first) would be a good addition, essentially being a member of the CUC that won't get eaten! I am also thinking the Christmas Wrasse (Halichoeres claudia) may become a meal for the eel. Someone else would need to say for sure though as I am just speculating. How about a nice large Angel?

Clean up crew is easy. Same mix, just more of them. Go to John at Reefcleaners and send him an email and he'll set you up right!
