50g Reef Tank Set up

    So i just started to up a 50g reef tank an i have a deep 4inch live sand bed an about 45 lbs of live rock an a CPR AeroForce2 skimmer an i was wondering if some sort of filter would be needed or recommended

    You have the filter with your sand and live rock, good skimming, high flow, good lighting, and i am a fan of water changes and carbon. And a big help is reading this helps you make big strides at your pace:) I am old school but these guy's will still be good reading for you.

    Good water flow through your rock and sand will most likely be fine as long as you dont stock heavily.

    If you want something to run chemical media in, the simplest thing would be to strap on a canister filter.
