is that branch you put in there wood? your going to want your anemones to have some time in the tank before you put in corals. you'll want to monitor the anemone and make sure its found a place it likes. if not it'll just move around and in doing so kill your corals. atleast this is what i understand from the research of my own anemone.

edit: even thereafter, it can get pissed off and move anyways and kill coral in the process.

I do have wood in the tank. It’s been in freshwater for a couple of years, so it shouldn’t turn my water brown. Will it hurt to have wood in the tank?

unfortunately wood is a really bad idea,it will leach nitrates forever and i've never seen a piece of wood in a saltwater tank that wasn't completely covered in algae, yank the wood out dude.
also, you may want to reconsider your choice of anemones and keep it to one species as they don't play well with others, even keeping one species may not work, whatever you do if you add more than one anemone you should really run carbon, and alot of it,i dont mean to sound like a jerk or discourage you at all, but you should do alot more research about anemones before you waste your money and kill a few of the coolest creatures on earth. please dont take it the wrong way, i can just tell from some of your posts your not quite ready for anemones yet, maybe you could start out with some mushroom anemones first? and work up to bubble tips?

Well I know about chemical warfare between anemones, but some people say they don’t, and some say they do, I just didn’t have I definite answer. And I wasn’t able to find any thing about driftwood in a saltwater tank. And no, you didn’t sound like a jerk, you just don’t want me to waste money, and kill helpless animals.

Btw. thanks for telling me about the wood. Now I can take it out before I fill the tank.

yeah i figured it was bad i just couldnt find any legit proof on the internet regarding wood leaching. i know i had this problem in my cichlid tanks before with wood ornaments. i stick to rock made materials and even those can sometime leach out over long long periods of time (years).

oh and i started with a condylactus anemone personally.....

I have some sad news about my nano. My maroon clown jumped out of the tank last night. I wont be getting any more fish, or coral until I set up my 55. I’ll probably get 2 Clarks clowns.
