55 gal tank, about 8 months in. (first ever saltwater tank)

Looks good. How deep is the sand bed?

 

Idk what the actual depth is, it's different in different areas because the fish/wavemakers have moved it around...

Some areas it's like 1in. In others it's upwards of 4"+.

There's 80lbs of sand in a 55gal. +75ish lbs of rock.

Is that a 55g? Looks as though is base is more than 12" front to back- nice.

 

Yep. It's a 55. I tried to layer the rock front to back to give it a deeper feel.

If u look closely, you'll see that the main rock structure is pulled out forward more, and then on the far L & R sides the smaller rock is actually behind the main structure.

 

well, you obviously succeeded in getting that deeper feel tank looks really nice! I like your selection of corals.
