Yeah, let me know how it goes. Good luck!! My angel just grazes all day long, so if yours is like that - food smeared on the rocks just may work!

It didn't work. This morning I woke up and he was laying on his side, behind all the rock. So after I took all the rock out of the tank to get to him, I notices he's barely breathing. I took my water to the LFS and they tested everything except oxygen since they said with a sump and skimmer I don't need to worry about oxygen.

They told me to put him in the fuge, and he's been there for about 1 hour now with all the lights off and barely breathing. His color is all faded and I don't know what else I can do for him. I hope he'll recover, but realistically speaking... it looks like he's headed for the toilet soon. Hope I'm wrong.

8 hours later and he's still somewhat breathing, but looks like he's health is deteriorating slowly. I'm not buying any more angels after him... I give up. My tank is an angel killer, no way around it :( :(

Don't give up!! Just make sure the angel has been at the LFS for quite some time, is healthy and eating.

He finally died last night around 2:30 am. This sucks guys... I don't know why I can't keep angels alive. My water is fine, I don't put any more chemicals like I used to, I leave it almost all to a good salt mix (Reef Crystals from Instant Ocean), I got the sump, skimmer, macro, mangroves, tons of copepods are swimming around in the DT and Refugium... the aquascape had plenty of places to hide and/or swim through... I tried to feed him Brine Shrimp, squid, mysis, spirulina, Pygmy Angel Formula, Formula 2, Garlic soaked seaweed and made sure there was sponges in the tank....I really don't get it...

    Why can't I have angels?

    :(
