This is my 55 Gallon Freshwater Angelfish Aquarium. For livestock I have 5 Angelfish, 3 Redeye Tetras, 1 Molly (lol), 1 sweet catfish/shark looking dude, and 1 Cory Catfish.

I have the standard lights that came with the walmart kit, because I'm not a huge fan of live plants. (Tried it once, and wasn't my thing)
I have a Penn Plax Cascade 1500 Canister Filter, and a Penn Plax 300 HOB filter. (A little overkill I know)

The rock formation is slate rock bought from my LFS. On the right you can see Mopani Wood I bought from petco, and a small peice of drift wood. The shrub looking bush I bought at walmart in their flower department.

8)Love this tank, but I've been getting a bit more into the (soon to be) reef tank8) (new thread coming soon)

Judging from your slate rock formations, you are going to really enjoy aquascaping your live rock.

Have any of your angels paired off? I used to raise angels and when they pair off and lay eggs they get pretty territorial.Never killed another fish but would beat the crap out of them if they didn't stay away.Nice tank by the way.

I have two angels that show characteristics of being mates but I havnt acually seen them lay eggs yet. They are always by each other and the male always chases the other angels away when they get close to the female, but I'm not 100% sure. It's obvious they own the tank. lol, fun to watch
