    Bought a rose millepora today. I'll get a better pic when it acclimates and gets fuzzy.

    Thanks! One of my LFS's his an amazing spa tank that he frsgs from. I'll have to get a pic.

    I've made a rule: I only buy frags with multiple branches and that have encrusted. This insures that I'm buying an established frag that will transition well. Not only that, it also expidites growth.

    This pieces was $20. All his acros are.

    hey dude, what's this exact coral? I bought a frag of this at RAP, it's growing pretty well but i don't know what it is exactly

    I was under the impression that it was an Acropora valida, but now I am thinking Acropora granulosa or Acropora Lokani.

    It had very dark purple tips before I moved the coral. You can see the remnant purple color if you look hard enough.

    yup, mine also has dark blue/purple tips, which i love... so this isn't a milli? i figured not because it looks pretty different next to my green slimmer

    Nope, Pretty certain it's an Acropora valida. The green slimmer is actually an Acropora yongei.

    You should be proud, the tank has come along ways. The coloration and growth is very noticeable. It looks great.
