It's close, but it's a tad bit pinker/purple in person. I could dim the colors, but the new whites I put in as a replacement for the two violets were in the color string.

    I really need a 3rd ballast.

I'd say that the ridiculous shimmer also takes away from the color a bit.

Oh didn't catch that. You could move a couple blues from the blue/white strand to the color strand and move the two whites to the blue/white strand.

    Hi All

This is my first time on these forums but i was wondering if anyone knows what the best brand of LED light to go with is? i have been looking on ebay and nothing really has stood out to me except this one brand called AquaBeauty, has any one heard of this? if so is it a good light? or any other recommendations?

    Hi and Welcome skyblue.

Creating a thread in the LED lighting section/forum would garner you more replies.

Will aluminum screws used to anchor the starboards down ground out the circuit like the stainless steel ones are?

I believe you would be correct. Old wiring used alluminum instead of copper when copper was in high demand. You could lightly sand off the oxidized layer to make sure you get a good contact but this may not be necessary. If others have better experience in electronics please correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a reason you don't want to use stainless? Alluminum may get soft when heated by the LEDs and loosen/corrode over time. Not too sure about this though either lol.

The stainless is grounding the LEDs out. The turn off when I screw them down.
