I am considering fragging everything just to try and keep frags of everything to grow out again. Is it worth the time and effort?

    Should I dip them too?

Cut and super glue the effected areas?

Or just let nature run its course, find my issue, correct it, and add new frags?

    Sorry to hear.

Have you tried a few WC's - it case it's alk, or a trace mineral, etc.?

I didn't read about your LED's. HOw long ago? Could it be too much/intense light?
    Just wondering.

I did do a water change a couple weeks back, which caused my salinity to increase slightly.

Lights have been on for 6 weeks. They are only on for 5 hours a day and run at bout 30%. They sit 8" off the water without optics. all my coral are practically on the sand bed.

If it were me I would hope for the best and try to correct the issue. I done the fragging and glue routine, more often then not it made no difference in the long run.

Just for the heck of it post your parameters and water source.

So only changes are the LED's and issue with SG?

What did you lower the SG too? Do you have an ATO?

LEDs, removed rock (probably stirred a bit of sand), SG, possible heavy metal/sheetrock addition

My SG was 1.0255 (was keeping it at 1.026). I lowered my salinity using my ATO over two days time after it spiked.

    Phosphate was 0.0092 (Hanna)
    Calcium was 380 (Red Sea)
Alkalinity was 2.72 meq/l or 7.6 dKH (Hanna)
    Temperature is 80
    Mag was 1250 (Red Sea)

I was keeping calcium and 425, alkalinity at 3.2 and magnesium at 1400 when things were going right. I didn't both adjusting them slightly after my last water change because I didn't want to add any more stress.

    Perfectly. Like nothing is wrong.

Soft corals and LPS are fine too. Growing in fact.

sometimes a coral disease just messed things up. I have a millipora in my old tank that started bleaching at the base for no apparent reason. I'm hoping it recovers. And my parameters are fairly stable with the exception of my Phosphates hovering around 0.06 using Red Sea kit.

How long had the rock been in place, months, years?

You got nothing to loose, I would start doing some water changes and trying to change out the carbon more often. Seriously I would do a 2-3 gallon water change every day until you turned over the entire 20. You'll accomplish bringing your mag up and probably your alk, you'll dilute a toxin or pathogen if present.

Approximately how long has the RTN been going on?

Yeah, I pretty much just chalked it up to a loss. No sense in crying over spilled milk. It's part of the hobby.
