Well my CO2 is filled and my reactor is at the house. I'll get it installed tonight and start tweaking and testing to get it dialed in.

All set up. Now I just need to slowly dial it in.

    I suppose that's a reasonable request.

Let's see if I can figure this out with the new site.

I am keeping it in the closet next to my tank, where my ATO resides as well. Since it us designed as a HOB, I am hanging it on a bucket.

I only filled it halfway as to help mitigate for a possible overdose as I go on thus learning curve.

The neat part about this setup is the co2 tank. It's a small 20 oz paintball tank that I used 12-15 years ago as a youngster.

What a cool little reactor. And nice that you could reuse that co2 tank.
Edit - mine was much bigger - that may have been why I had pH problems. You may not get that as much.

    Thanks.

I'll be keeping a close eye on it. So far, the pH is still around 8.2, with mybeffluent slowly dripping in at a pH of 6.75. I'm anxious to see how the calcium and alk. check out in a day or two compared to my baseline.

Calcium was 370 and alk was 3.5. I would prefer to keep calcium at 425-450.

    Looks nice

Dose the reactor have a hole to put the ph probe into or are you running it into a cup and the reading the ph?

Thanks. It does have a hole, but I have it plugged for now. I'm btesting with a 3 pt calibrated YSI meter using a cup of sample effluent.

Kevin, would you mind posting a picture of your sump? I'd like to see how it's setup.
