The more I look at the coral the more I want it ha ha. Is that a friend of yours.. If he has any more up for sale keep me in mind. Overnight shipping should not be that bad and a short trip.

I am considering swapping out my actnics for Blue Plus bulbs. I run the actinics from 9 am to 11 pm (the halides form 12pm to 8 pm), but I am considering just running the T5s from 9 to 12 pm and then again from 8 om to 11 pm. If I did so, I think I would want to run Blue Plus so that I can atleast provide PAR to my coral during those 6 hours (and still provide a pop).

I've read the that the Blue Plus has outrageous PAR. I'm not sure how mich 2 bulbs would provide to a 55, but it's better than actinic.

He's a local reefer that I've come to know. Which are you interested in? He does and has shipped, but said the efllo corsls he has shipped in the past are hit and miss. They aren't great travelers.

Lots of blue. I just replaced my Phoenix w/ a Hamilton 14k and am dissapointed. Much brighter, but more yellow.

I purchased PFO parralell reflectors. They are 12.25" x24 inches, so evey square inches of my tank will have a reflective lenses above it.

Right now, my tank has 2 12" reflectors. That means half of my tank has highly reduced PAR.

The current reflectors are quite poor anyways. They are cheap and somewhat tarnished.

PFO are no longer made, but were at one point, PAR beasts. This reflectors come pre drilled for mogul ends and the sides have prebuild T5 reflectors and pre drilled holes for the t5 end caps.

While replacing these, I must build a new canopy to install them. My current one is to narrow front to back and truthfully, a bit of a pain. I recently took it apart to remodel it and it is mangled now.

I also will be replacing my 14+ month old phoenix bulbs. I had 2 14000k Hamiltons, but one bulb is yellower, so I am returning them. Decided to go with 20000k instead.
