55 gallon stocking list!!! Need help

Well, as some of you may know, I am currently setting up a 55 gallon FOWLR tank. I'm getting sand and water put into the tank tomorrow. I figure I'll let e tank cycle for a month and a half or so. Does adding starter bacteria really help increase efficiency? As for filtration I am currently using a Penguin 350 Biowheel filter. I plan to upgrade to an aqua clear 110, and maybe a sump w/skimmer and a hang on refugium as I go along.
Here's my list:
Fish
Onyx Percula Clownfish(pair)
Flame Angelfish
Mndarin Draonet(when hang on refugium is working as a hatchery for pods and rock is cycled)
Blue Spot Jawfish
_______________ (help me fill in the tank, looking for a variety of colors if not already over stocked)

Inverts
Blood Red Shrimp
Skunk Cleaner Shrimp (2 maybe?)
serpent Star OR Red Reef Star(If serpents would a pair work? The tank has a decent amount of floor space)
Open to another suggestion If I'm not already over stocked.

CUC
Going reef cleaners all the way. 8)
Also RC for base rock.

just remember that for the jawfish they need lots of sand. as for another fish, how about a neon goby? maybe a pair? for inverts i'd only keep 1 blood shrimp and 1 cleaner; serpent stars are pretty good too.

I'll look up on them. But I was really thinking of a Dracula Goby; it'll take awhile to save up for.... Unfortunately.

So do you think a pair of Serpents would work?

And as far as fish go, in what order would you add them? Probably clowns first.


EDIT: as for the BSJ, I'm ordering 40 lbs dry, and 20 lbs of live sand. If its not deep enough, could I run some pcs pipe under the rock work? Would that create an adequate cave? I've seen it done for mantis shrimp.

 

a dracula? were u looking at the dracula goby thread just now? XD i see them for like $130 so that very expensive. a pair of serpents...? i'd settle for one, but thats just me. i'd add the clowns last if u buy them as a pair so that other fish can create territory and the clown pair wont bother any other fish if they eventually try to breed, since they can fight other fish looking for a spot to lay eggs.

 

I like gobies as well, they stay smaller, and bring a lot of color too

 

Oh, not necessarily a breeder pair.. Just a pair from the same tank. I don't want the clowns fighting with one another. And I should add them after even the Flame Angel? And nope; didn't see DG thread. Just remember your profile pic. XD

Oh sorry, I meant, the flame would seem like the most aggressive. If the clowns went in last, the angel would have already established territory. And he beats the clowns at size and aggressiveness(unless clowns have fry)

 

well im not exactly sure; maybe put the clowns first in then XD. you might wanna ask 2in10 or someone who actually knows this kind of stuff. i know this stuff but cant tell u since i have no experience or good knowledge on fish. i just add the fish XD
