    ive got the brown algae bloom and im gonna let it stay and eat up all my nitrates =] i see coralline growing on the back wall and on the intake to my filters

    coraline is a good sign, means your parameters are getting in check. It's really cool when you first get it, but it gets old fast. Now I have to continually clean the glass to prevent it from taking over.

    long time no update its kinda boring right now just trying to take care of that brown algae be for it gets to out of hands but the clowns are thriving and my next thing im buying is the live rock any suggestions i might add a 6 line wrasse but ill have to do my studding

    ohh yah i added another power head at the top or irritation (sp?) because i was having scum and the junk at the top. ughhhh the seller still hasten got me the mag float and the skimmer. well it shouldnt be a problem i know where he lives

    When you add more live rock your going to start a new cycle. I wouldnt add any other fish untill you add your live rock then let it cycle like people have said. Giveing your tank time is the best thing for it, when i first started i rushed and now i regret it so take it slow from exp. it sucks in the long run when you rush things.

    even if i pre cure it in a rubber maid 20 gallon tote?

    and there's still beneficial bacterium in my filters and live sand, correct me if im wrong

    im not positive on if you cure it so you will have to wait for a guru to chime in, and yes you do still have good bacteria in your filter and sand.

    ok i no i was just making shure it wasnt the whole cycle its just a mini one then ill do a like 30% water change. am i right?
