    I would bring alk up. I was reading an article by randy holmes farley discussing cyano. According to him, and I may be wrong in my quoting, but higher PH lowers the type of carbon in which cyano uses for photosynthesis. I would increase alk dosing until you get your ph up around 8.4'ish. You should then see a decline. BTW, I'm going through the same thing right now with red cyano and I'm bumping my dosing pumps up a little bit untill I achieve a higher PH. Right now, I'm also at about 8.0 but my alk is at 8.2.

    And that's been evident with the bubbles and cyano. I have some Brightwell Alkalin-P 8.3 I will use to bring that value up. I believe I have high phosphates as well, don't own a test kit to confirm that tho.

    Thanks. I tried to keep a GBTA about a year and a half ago, it didnt survive very long. Lets hope this does a little better.

    Sweeeet!! love the clowns, i just got a pair of Percula, captive bred from a friend, for some reason i just cant discount the appeal of the good old clownfish.
