Acropora eating flatworms. Have you introduced any new sps?

I would try to adjust the flow to a little less direct. I know people say they keep sps right in front of their MP's but my pieces loose flesh in front of Korallias....

Could be a combination of a couple stressors, new lights, temp spike, lower alk....been there done that. It always my favorite piece too, knock on would.

Since it's that specific piece and it's large I would frag a couple pieces.

Add any larger amounts of new carbon or GFO lately?

    I absolutely love the questions.
No flatworms, nothing's been added in a long time.
Flow is my top guess, but ive been playing around a bit with it to lower it.
I do believe its a combo of all my latest issues.
I did change some carbon on Monday.

Those last two picture look like its top-down necrosis and I would put my money on Alk issues in that case.

Sooo how are all the other corals doing and the frags??????

Tank looks fantastic as always. We all loose pieces unfortunately for whatever mysterious reason. Looks like that was the only causality, count yourself lucky.

    Thanks Corailline.
All other corals are just fine. I lost about 95% of the coral. Even the frag pieces didnt do so good. I rotated the rock somewhat to hide the dead coral. I am hoping with time, it comes back and I can rotate it to its original state...time will tell. And yes, very lucky. In the mean time, I am working to get my water quality stable.
