    I asked my wife what fish she would like to have in our tank. She named off 4 different tangs. my response was, "You should have let me get the bigger tank I wanted."

    Fixed that for you :) They are one of my favorite Tangs, and hopefully someday I will have a tank big enough for one. Enjoy it in the meantime!

    So far it's eating frozen flake and pellets. Next up is to get it to feed on some nori.

    Would it be recommended to add a uv sterilizer to a quarantined tank?

    Can't hurt, as long as temp isn't an issue. I use one on my 46 gal QT, a 36W unit. Make sure it is powerful enough and water flow slow enough.

    Yup, which is why they need a 10'+ long tank when full grown. They do have awesome personalities though, from the couple I have seen in person.

    Quick update...tang seems to be doing very well in it's first week. Loves food.
    I went out of town for four days with no one checking on my tanks. All was well when I came back and was a major weight off my shoulders.
