55g and 10g

    these are the start of my saltwater tank; 55g [​IMG], 10g [​IMG],im goin to get live rocks and live sand saturday

    Congrats! Off to a good start I see! FYI, You really dont need to buy live sand IMO, normal arragonite sand will do fine! Especially since your are placing LR in the tank, which you could also buy some base rock and a few pieces of LR to seed the tank. Process takes longer to cycle the tank, however you save some serious change in the process.

    yea dead sand and base/dead rock = save money. you can just buy a couple of small pieces of live rock to seed. also you'll need all the money you can for your next upgrade.... LIGHTS.. ;)

    looks like a good start but is the 55 a "show" 55 or a standard 55 because it looks taller than wider? look great anyhow...

    im not sure about the 55g i bought it for $10 from a friend, the 55g i put in CaribSea live aragonite reef sand and a skimmer

    i added another bag of live sand and i have a 7 pound live rock in the 10g for a while
