    Sure, the emitters might last 10 years (if properly installed as per manufacturer specs) but will the drivers, soldering, PCBs, fans, etc? You get what you pay for! :p

    No experience with the Powermodule, but I've used Tek fixtures in the past, very nice lights.

    as a note, an Orphek 156 would be great for your 55. also, i hear that they are an amazing company and have AMAZING customer service(can i get a discount PLEASE!)

    sorry as that was off topic and i did say "theoretically". it is always true that you get what you pay for.

    at the moment i am looking to buy 6 tmc 500 aquabeam light strips over a six month period while my tank is cycling this will give me pretty much full reef capabilities and wont break the bank at any time but i have been on the orphek site and might check them out first

    yes i have had a good look at those lights and they would look nice and neat but cannot find a uk dealer
