    The sand I put in the tank was not live when I bought it. Is was all stirred up when I filled the tank and put the powerheads in.

    I always did sand before water and never had an issue

    here it is. the tank for my sump/refugium. Got it at PetCo durning their dollar a gallon sale. I am one step closer. I am stoked and ready to put my baffles in it.

    Just went through the entire thread- you sound like me; I changed my scape at least 5 times during the cycle.
