lol I wish it was that simple but I have been getting most of my stuff out of flordia because everything out here is so high and no one has a reef tank except a few of the hard core reefers out this way LOL

Wow! Thanks for all the quick replys. I'll try to respond to some of the comments.

The light I am using now is a 4X24 Wavepoint with individual reflectors and ATI bulbs so I believe the par should be pretty good. I really only plan to keep things like zoas, palys, mushrooms, kenya tree and some xenia. Of course that could change. Based on some of the responses I should be ok with that, correct? I was thinking I could add some sort of LED strips maybe the stunner strips later down the road to help if I decide on corals that need more light. Would something like that work?

I was thinking around $400 would be a good price for the set up. RC McWaters- where did you find that tank for $230 online? is that with the overflow? I wonder how bad shipping would be on that.

I know I could save $$ building a stand but just don't have the extra time to do it. Work too many hours and have a baby on the way.

Brennan, I thought about going with the 40B but it would really be a tight fit and I don't think the 24" light would work with the 36" tank. I'm trying to work with as much of my current parts as possible since I just purchased alot of the stuff for the other tank.

Do you guys think I'd be ok with a 10 gallon sump? or do I need to pick up a 20 gal while I'm at it?

I think that fixture would be fine with the corals you want. Personally I would get the largest sump you can fit but a 10g would work fine.
