Didn't think of that. I've had enough algae already in my 29 gallon. That was a nightmare. I don't even want to think about it ::)

I'm asking this cause I don't know the answer but is it possible to add both the Tasha goby AND the hi fin goby as well as both of this pistol shrimp?I REALLY like the red banded/striped pistol shrimp the best of the 2 u posted but I think that both types of goby's and both types of pistol shrimp in the tank would be really cool

I think shipping for MD is something like $4. So it's cheap, and even standard shipping generally arrives within 2-3 days (even if it's the weekend, IME).

I've read some places where they will be fine, but in a 5g I kinda doubt that will work out, but I like the thought and any imput from anyone

yeah, its only $2.45 for insurance which I can't drop, but I need salt too, and Drs is much cheaper for that

Yes, they are cheaper on some, higher priced on others. Shipping is relatively quick with them as well.

On the subject of livestock: could you do 2 shrimp/goby pairs in a reef tank? Sure. Would I suggest it in this small of a tank? Certainly not. IIRC, they will become aggressive towards each other, aside from the fact that your bio-load would likely be through the roof.
