    been running this unit for a month, just bought a float valve for it, since i got the brs plus unit, it came with the auto shut off solenoid but when it fills up and shuts off the product water, the waste water just keeps coming out anyway to stop this?

    How long are you waiting? It may take a minute or two to sense the backpressure from the raised float before it shuts off. You will also want to make sure the RO/DI does not have any air inside the membrane housing but if you have been running it for a month thats probably not an issue.
