6 line jumped then Vanished

get the mesh top, I had 3 wrasse and a clown jump, over $300 in fish carpet surf. It's $20 and well worth it!

 

I wonder if I can find one that is already made for 36 long 30 gallon

probably, I'm not sure of the opening size though. It truly is easy to make the one in the link I posted.

 

like cosmo mentioned, you can easily make a really good top/screen yourself. I used the BRS 1/4" netting to make mine Clear Netting - Bulk Reef Supply

You can get Spline, Spline roller, & screen door framing/frame corners at any Home Depot or Lowes. I found it really easy and I'm not a DIY kinda guy.

I wouldn't risk ordering something that wasn't made for a SW tank. I love my mesh top, it fits perfectly and has saved me so much stress and $ with jumpers.

Yeah, mine disappeared too. Found him a week later after i thoroughly searched area a dozen times!

 

MoJoe brought up a good point. Chances are that thing is amde of cheap metal which will rust and possibly contaminate your tank. The mesh set up should run ya about $20 total.

 

The only problem is getting the chords from the pumps to allow the screen to sit flush and not look streamline

 

you can always put a little inset corner with some extra 90s from Lowes. just create a little notch in each corner
