    yea it always sucks to lose a fish but i guess thats the cost of having no lid on your tank its happened to me various times.

    Sorry for the loss, I second Halichoeres species wrasses, very active. peaceful and you can keep several together in the same tank

    I was standing in front on my tank a few days ago when my yellow coris wrasse tried jumping. He shot like a bullet too. I always figured the jump was a startle response or something, but it looked like he took a good 2 foot head start to break the surface. I swear if it wasn't where my center brace was he would have launched 6 feet from the tank.

    LOL.. they do that. my aussie perc gets defensive of her corner and chased my 6 line into the overflow. fortunately and easy catch for me. this is the 2nd fish I have had to get out of the overflows.
