So last night I found roughly 5 flat worms in my barebottom sump and after some reading ordered some Flatworm Exit and am currently waiting on that. But I am wondering does it sound like a good idea to go out and buy a 6 Line to throw in there and pick away at them to get the numbers as low as possible? I have seen no flatworms in my DT but figured I could put him in there after I just worry he might harass my yellow Clown Goby (who is the apple of my eye) or my Royal Gramma. (It is a 29g biocube hqi with a 20g sump) Opinions please

i would think that it would be stressful for the wrasse without a sand bottom for it to sleep and hide in so i wouldn't put it in your sump.

Just trying to find out whats going to be best for the overall health of the tank. I am concerned that in killing more flat worms then i have to i will nuke the whole tank.

See the link in my signature regarding wrasses.

However, I'm going to say no simply due to the tank size combined with the Royal Gramma already present.

FWIW, 6 lines DONT sleep in the sand. they find a hole in the rock and form a mucus cocoon.

My 6 line has done a number on the flatworms in my system. I had a bunch of the NON acro/monti eating ones. the good ones. my sizline ahs erradicated them and all the pods from my 180. It is the fattest 6 line I have ever seen. Great little fish that also eats flake, cyclopeze and anything else I can throw in the tank.

i would not worry about them nor would i add any sketch chemicals to the water to kill a couple worms. if you want get a 6 liner for your DT though i did not know they ate flat worms
