    thats what i kinda thought. you'd think the toothmarks would be distinctive. maybe they hadn't gotten that far. i'm still going with shark simply because that would be awesome.

    That is a small male, probably killed by an orca or big female.

    oh yeah, and all fish are cannibalistic, I forgot about that, if it was injured or sick in any way it's not uncommon for them to take each other out, it's a fish eat fish world lol

    *sigh* I hate it when people are like "STAY OUT OF THE WATER! shaaaaark!" How do we know the other "predatory fish" killed that shark? We don't. The shark could have died, and something big saw a free meal. It could have been a predatory mammal (whale). I don't think people should avoid the water just because something like this shows up. I've been diving with sharks, so obviously I have a different view of them than most people have :lol:

    People ask me, "You went diving with SHARKS?" Well, yeah. And they didn't even consider eating me. ;)

    You forgot the saltwater crocs. I went to Australia several years ago and my friends there advised against swimming in the ocean. I took their advice. They said that the only people who really swim in the ocean are the tourists. Although there were jellyfish nets set up in some swimming areas, the surf was regulary going over the rim of nets. I don't see how they're helpful at all.
