The mag drive is too powerful for the setup I have layed down. Send me a pic of the filter ur talking about, maybe I can use it

 

Its the biggerversion of this without the UV filter

 

Woke up this morning to my entire fish room flooded... The rubbermaid filter is leaking at the bulkhead fitting... Just goes to show that the cheaper alternative isn't always the best option.

 

One thing I have seen with rubbermaid is that it gets brittle over time when used with our marine systems...you should expect it to be a maintenance point over time....more pics...

 

how much salt do you think your gonna use?

 

Well the initial salt would prob be about 300 gal's worth but he would just give me salt whenever I want for water changes etc... He uses both natural sea water and Instant ocean mix...I plan on using the natural for coral fragging and the instant ocean for fishes.

 

I'm so upset about the leaking with the filter...I think I'm gonna make some glass sumps for em'

 

have you worked out how your gonna transport it. just buckets or are you gonna buy a water storage unit and put it on a truck

 

I have a couple 5 gal water bottles that I'm gonna use to transport everyday.
