    Hi everyone,

I figured I would start a thread specific to this build especially that it is a stand alone from my existing system.. It is a 34 cube, going to set it up as a clown and nem tank. It will start a little slow as I need to build a new stand for it. Stand will be furniture grade with moldings and built from oak. It will be slightly over sized for the 34 cube as I would like to upgrade it to a 60 cube eventually.

    So far my equipment is
34 cube with bean animal drain,
    Custom stand
    20 gallon oceanic sump
RO skimmer (will update with model #)
    MP10
    Acan 18" LED
    BRS duel reactor
    Sicce Return pump.
I have some small Tonga branch, shelf and rock will aquascape it with.

Building this for my wife so all stocking will be done from her.
Bare bottom or sand is her call.

I will post some pics along the way and as I skin the stand.

I'm looking forward to this build! love the idea of a nem and clown tank especially with designer clowns - love wyoming whites! I might look at some maxi mini nems and adding in some cool inverts - as I've posted a million times - love sexy shrimp - I think your wife would like them too - they are so darn cute and really seem to have a bond with maxi minis

I am starting my 40B back up after a crash last year and I will be doing a clown, anemone tank. I will also put in a few softies and LPS but maintain a low bioload. I am looking into Black ice clowns but I am not sure what kind(s) of anemones.

What kind of Anemones? What type of clowns? Surely the wife must have shared that info with you. :p

Well let's just say the tank is a surpise.... lol. I want to build the stand first before I give it to her. I do have a question though.... Kessel or AI nano?

I have been hinting around her having her own tank.

Boy that is a tough question. I like Kessel A LOT, but, I went AI so we'll see.

Both would light this size aquarium perfectly, it really depends on which look you want. Keep in mind the Kessil does not have a moon light, and only the 160 is dimmable.
